Ok, so not much else to do but the waiting to see what my grades are. Here's to seeing how I did on the first semester back in college since... however long I haven't been in college. I want to be confident that they will stay the A's and B's they were all semester. But STILL. The waiting till they put remaining grades in is still as stressful as ever.

It will be back to classes again for summer semester. So my break will only be a few days. I sob inside.

Also, I am confident things will go as usual with the doctor this week. But I always have a sense of dread or just "ugh" at seeing doctors, even if it's only once or twice a year. Kind of hard to avoid doctors when you're a diabetic with hypothyroidism. Alas. Also means eye check up is soon. I do those yearly too. Ugh.

Almost time to get my cat his yearly blood work too, soon. I want my baby to keep being healthy.

I guess because I associate summer with all of these obligations, I hate the season. But I also mostly hate summer because of the heat. And the bugs. Especially the bugs. I just need it to be Autumn. NOW. give me pumpkin spice and Apple cinnamon season. Not whatever is this Refresher season we have going on, cause we got several chains pushing out "refresher" drinks everywhere and competing with Starbucks. (I admit, Dunkin's refreshers are good... oops.)

My mom had a cat who was pretty heavy, too, mainly because he was a feral they fed ham and cat food and chicken before taking him in. He was also sick with feline leukemia, though, and the meds made him extra hungry.

But yeah, kitties are important. Mine had elevated kidney values and that worried me, but she's doing well on her special kidney food.

Wishing you (and your cat!) the best with all that's going on. The anticipation of waiting for all those outcomes is a nasty kind of stress, I'm sorry it's all so close together!

But I also mostly hate summer because of the heat. And the bugs. Especially the bugs. I just need it to be Autumn. NOW.

Boy, ain't that a MOOD. I love the transitional months, but where I live now Spring and Autumn last for like... A couple weeks, with summer overtaking the end and beginning of each, respectively, by quite a lot. So much of the year is hot, humid weather! So I'm looking forward to those couple weeks of Autumn with great intensity.

I also noticed a bunch of chains putting out their own "refresher" drinks... Kind of amusing to me that it took this long, to be honest!

That's so true! lol As a teen, I'd always be baffled when the adults I knew weren't quick to go to the doctor, but now? Yeah, I'm much more likely to feel like "Eh, I'll be fine, it can wait! I've got other things to do!"

Ooh, those are good ones! Life's been so full of chances the last few years that I'm only really starting to re-establish traditions in my life. Spooky movies and specials are definitely a must in my home come October, though I'm not a fan of like... actual horror, haha, so it's more fun spooky like Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, and Nightmare Before Christmas, or things that lean more creepy than horror, like Shane Acker's 9 - one of my favorites! And then there's the song "Autumn Dance," which I love to listen as much as possible in September, as Summer winds down and Autumn starts up!
